Film and theater are close genres (drama), film in its beginnings to a large extent derived from the theater, actors often occur in both. In this course, students will learn about the various forms of drama speech (techniques and methods) and stylistic use of different linguistic resources (pronounciation, accent and emphasis, syntax, for example word order, intonation, stylistic use of lexems ...). Students get to know the language of the theater and the film practically - they will prepare the oral interpretation (by using IT language resources and literary knowledge), the realization (video recording) and analysis of interpreted (discussion after the presentation). Students will compare different options of using a variety of standard and non-standard language registers in their own stage or film interpretation. During the tutorial they will gain or renew basic knowledge of phonology and speech preparation (basic speaking techniques).
