An overview of the main works, movements and tendencies in 20th century British drama, with an emphasis on the post-World War II production.
Introduction of characteristic features of contemporary British drama.
A survey of influence of contemporary British drama on world drama and other arts (esp. prose and film).
Analysis and interpretation of selected plays.
Presentations of students’ papers on various aspects of contemporary British drama, followed by discussions.
