Presentation of archaeology of hunters, farmers, herders and metallurgists in Eurasia. Explanation of (1) basic interpretative concepts, models and processes connected with the development and change of economic practices and techniques, technologies of pottery making, metal ores processing and tool making; (2) regional and local chronological sequences and C-14 dating series of individual contexts; (3) stratigraphic sequences; (4) paleoenvironmental changes, and the processes of animal domestication, plant cultivation, and change in dietary patterns, and (5) the population dynamics basics. Presentation of the (6) continental and regional distributions of cultures and their artefact assemblages; (7) characteristics of settlement and grave structures; (8) art practices; (9) symbols and beliefs, and (10) the appearance of writing systems.
