Tamara Mikolič Južnič is Associate Professor of Translation Studies, Head of the Chair of Translation Studies and Deputy Head of the Department of Translation Studies. She is also a member of the Senate of the Faculty of Arts, the Erasmus+ Internship Department Coordinator and the Department's representative the CIUTI Association.
She teaches at all three levels of the study programmes and delivers lectures and seminars on the Italian language, translation of professional and political texts, textual competence and translation research methodology. Her research interests include translation studies, community interpreting, contrastive grammar and corpus linguistics.
