A student independently collects and analyses the material for the diploma work, she or he studies the related literature, with the help of which she or he interprets the material; she or he coordinates her or his work regarding the writing and presentation of the diploma work with the mentor.
Diploma work must be written in accordance with the faculty technical recommendations for the preparation of the diploma work. When a student writes a diploma in both programs of combined study, the diploma work must be of at least one and at most one and a half author's sheets of text (from 30.000 to 45.000 characters with spaces). In the case of a joint diploma of combined study programs, the total volume of the joint diploma is from 60.000 to 90.000 characters. Diploma work and all the material obtained during the research (illustrations, sound recordings, other ethnographic material ...) must be submitted to the departmental documentation with the help of the ISEKA application.
Each year separately those who lead the pre-diploma seminar prepare the list of literature - individually for each student and according to his or her chosen topic of the diploma work.
